Garlic-Infused Waffles

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract. Combine well.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the minced garlic and grated cheese if using.
- Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron, spreading evenly.
- Cook the waffles until golden brown and crisp, about 4-5 minutes or according to your waffle iron’s settings.
- Remove from the waffle iron and serve immediately.
