Beer and Ketchup Marinade for Grilled Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 bottle of light beer
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 4 chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the beer and ketchup until well combined.
- Add the salt and black pepper, stirring to integrate them into the liquid mixture.
- Place the chicken breasts into the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate, or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on the hot grill.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
