Soft Rye Bread Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices soft rye bread
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

Instructions

  1. Lay out the 4 slices of soft rye bread on a clean surface.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of mustard evenly on two slices of bread.
  3. Layer 2 slices of deli ham on each mustard-covered slice of bread.
  4. Place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham on each sandwich.
  5. Evenly distribute the mixed greens on top of the cheese.
  6. Add slices of tomato over the mixed greens.
  7. Top each sandwich with the remaining slice of bread.
  8. Press down gently on each sandwich to hold the layers together.
  9. Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
