Caramel Apple Parfait with Crumb Topping

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add apple slices, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the pan and cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, crush graham crackers into coarse crumbs.
  5. In serving cups, place a spoonful of whipped cream at the bottom.
  6. Add a layer of the cooked apple mixture on top of the whipped cream.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
  8. Sprinkle a layer of graham cracker crumbs on top.
  9. Repeat the layers if using larger cups.
  10. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and a final sprinkle of crumbs.
